The membership in social networking has corrupted the young mind and caused damage to the cultural patterns, traditions and norms which we cherished for centuries. The advantages gained through social networking are remarkable. No way it is diminished however the experiences of girls through face book are highly threatening???
Real Incident:
A girl named Anitha (name is changed for diserection) hails from a poor family with a loving brother who sacrificed his education, comforts, and enjoyments for the upbringing of Anitha his beloved sister. She is good looking. As a college going student got connected with a married boy through face book. She roamed around, enjoyed and finally eloped with a boy one fine morning. Parents were yelling, crying experienced the pain of having lost her beloved daughter who was their only hope and future.. Case was filed. Girl was found with that boy. While the police decided to hand over the girl to the family. She declared that she doesn’t need the family anymore and wanted to go with that boy.
To cut-short the incident, the court declared to send her with that boy as she was major. To our concern
The girl has ditched her Parents!
The girl has shattered the dreams of her parents!
The girl has spoiled her own future!!
It is not alone one Anita , there are innumerable Anita’s who have caused an unhealing scare , pushed their parents into the pit and destroyed their prospects! Is it the way to pay back the parents who let go everything for their children? How do you restore those depressed souls? Therefore
Is it enough to emphasis on personal responsibility in the usage of social net working (OR)
Is it imperative to perpetuate collective responsibility of the society?
